The Giants grabbed an early lead and appeared to have this game well in hand with Logan Webb RHP cruising into the 5'th inning when Webb's start fell apart and lost the lead setting up a walk-off win for the Marlins.
Jason Vosler 3B got the Giants first run off Pablo Lopez RHP with his 4'th HR in 54 PA. It was also his second HR in as many games.
Donovan Walton 2B drove in the Giants other 3 runs with a double down the LF line(opposite field) that skipped past Jorge Soler LF in the fourth inning to give the Giants a 4-0 lead.
Webb had an odd game as he allowed just one walk through 3 IP then a single in the fourth inning. At that point everybody was feeling pretty good about the Giants chances to win the game, but he opened the 5'th inning by giving up 3 consecutive hard hits for a run. A throwing error by Joey Bart C on an attempted steal cut the lead to 2. Webb seemed to recover with a K and a groundout, but then walked Jazz Chisholm 2B to load the bases and Kap had seen enough. Webb did not look at all happy about coming out. He was even less happy after John Brebbia RHP gave up a SB to Chisholm and a 2-run single to tie the score.
It was a similar story with Tyler Rogers RHP who breezed through the 8'th inning and came out to pitch the 9'th in a tie game. The 9'th was an all-too-typical Rogers inning as Jesus Aguilar DH led off with an infield single to deep SS with Wilmer Flores not handling Crawford's throw. Rogers then hit the next batter then balked the runners up setting up the sac fly to end it.
