It does seem Vaun Brown doesn't have anything left to prove at this level. Move him up! Eric Silva was dominant for 3 innings then gave up a run in the 4'th and 2 more in the 5'th. Sound familiar?
I'm the most concerned with Heliot Ramos whose batting average is barely over 200. Glad to hear he's working on mechanical adjustments with hitting coach Damon Minor according to Pav's. Thanks Doc lot of good stuff going down on the farm other then Luciano and Harrison. Mason Black looks like a RHP to watch. Eric Silva is a pitcher they kept from attending UCLA.
ReplyDeleteGoing into Sunday's game, Brown is slashing .360/.444/.652/1.096 with 12 HRs in 46 games after a slow April. He's "only" .333/.412/.600 in 4 games in June.
ReplyDeleteHe's obviously a man playing amongst boys. He needs to be moved up soon.
