  1. Villar hasn't played for several games. Any idea what's wrong with him? I am glad to see the team utilizing Hjelle. I wish it was more elective and not as much under coercion. Could we call up Bryce Johnson instead of Duggar? He seems to be having a solid season. Also, Bishop and Wyatt should be higher than lower levels by now. Each should be dominating middle to higher minor leagues and ready to knock on the door to the majors. Has the team perhaps already moved on from them?

  2. Bryce Johnson has more warts than Duggar. He has no power and somehow he's not walking this year. His babip is unsustainable so pretty much and although he has speed and good defense, there's probably not anything he can do that Duggar can't match.

Let's give Bishop a healthy season to see how he can adjust month to month. After an atrocious start, he's beginning to show some life. He's definitely shown the flashes of the power/speed combo that made him a 10th pick and widely considered the best athlete in the draft. If he can stay on the field I'd consider it to be a positive year for him.

Wyatt unfortunately seems like a lost cause. Unless he develops a modicum of power, his hit tool isn't even up to the level of James Loney and other low power/high contact 1B prospects of the past.
