10 of the 22 runs scored in this game came in extra innings. Giants scored 3 runs in the top of the 12'th but gave up 5 in the bottom of the inning.
Matos staying hot in AAA. Think he could push a July call up Doc?
ReplyDeleteMatos is looking more and more like a callup for this season. It could be even sooner than July. It's not like the Giants CF situation is settled and Matos is starting to have the look the THE guy.
DeleteMatos is going to be a star. I remember taking a shine to him when he was in Low A raking -- you don't see 19 year olds put up 15 home runs in low A often. I think Doc you ranked him as the top prospect in the Giants system a few years ago too -- over Luciano. I think this is going to be the vaunted Giants OF prospect we have been been waiting a few decades for.
