  1. 25 yo local boy free agent Zach Green has put together a career year in Sacramento, slashing .320/.419/.753/1.172 with 22 dingers in 229 PAs.
The Giants best find out whether Green has re-invented himself with launch angles or is it sillyball in the PCL while they control him.
Being thoroughly blocked at the corners by the Giants 3 best performing infielders plus Tyler Austin isn't helping especially since 2 of the 3 aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
Green has to be a guy who appeals to FZ -- as soon as the FO figures out whether to unload or bumble along they need to clear a spot where he can hack at the cars in left field. This kid might be Max Muncy -- a lot more likely than young Yaz is and even younger.
On the down side, he is defensively challenged, he's not fleet of foot, and he strikes out too much. OTOH he doesn't put the ball on the ground a lot.
