Adam Duvall(3B)- 1 for 4, HR(9).  BA= .331.
Ty Blach(LHP)- 6.2 IP, 6 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 K's.  ERA= 3.22.
Erik Cordier(RHP)- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 3.00.

Pence starts his rehab assignment.  Ty Blach has allowed just 2 runs in 18.2 IP, over his last 3 starts.  He had a disaster start in which he allowed 6 ER in 4 IP on 4/21.  All of his other 5 starts have been QS in which he has an combined ERA of 1.93.  Oh, and Blach has just 2 BB's all season so far!

Ha!  Kiley McDaniel, in his chats on Fangraphs, tends to get annoyed if people ask him about a prospect he's profiled in his top 200.  I'm going to see if I can catch him during a chat and ask him about Big Joe Biagini.  He just seems to be getting better and better.  I think he is a real sleeper in the Giants system.

Gardeck, who has had severe command/control issues in the past, now has 27 K's against 6 BB's in 21.2 IP this season.

8 K's in 6 IP with 8 GB outs?  Whooo-eeee!  That is some good pitching from Sam Coonrod!  Brutal game for most of the hitters' stat lines.
