Ben Turner(Catcher)- 3 for 4, 2B. BA= .800.
Juan Gutierrez(RHP)- 2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K. ERA= 3.95.
Turner is a guy who I think is a sleeper in the system. He has not shown any power to speak of, but had terrific K and BB numbers last year for San Jose to go with a high BA.

Mac Williamson(RF)- 4 for 5, HR(2). BA= .280.

Matt Lujan(LHP)- 6 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 6 K's, GO/AO= 9/0. ERA= 4.35.
Over on MCC, several people listed Mac as one of their top 3 disappointments for April in the Giants minor league system. Really? I thought he was doing OK myself. This is the EL and Richmond we're talking about here, right? Anyway, hopefully this is the start of a huge month of May for Mac. Ricky showed some signs of life. This is more the way Lujan pitched last year for San Jose.

Is the toolsy Relaford finally getting some traction on his career? Arenado gets his BA above .300. Strong peripherals from Coonrod.

DeletePlus, Mac did miss all of last year, so he has spent a good chunk of April getting back into the swing of things. I'll be more worried if he's struggling come July.
