AAA  Memphis Redbirds defeated the Sacramento River Cats 5-4:

Brett Jackson(CF)- 1 for 4, HR(1).  BA= .297.
Ty Blach(LHP)- 6 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 3 BB, 5 K's.  ERA= 4.07.

PCL is a tough league on pitchers with Blach's type of stuff, but Sacramento is actually a pitcher friendly field.  Not a particularly inspiring start for Blach.

Blake Miller's return from the DL pushes Rando Moreno to the bench.

Dan Slania(RHP)- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's, Save(9).  ERA= 2.29.

Second HR in 2 games for Cole.  Big strikeout game for Johnson.  Big Dan Slania has made 8 scoreless appearances in a row.

Reyes Maronta(RHP)- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K, Save(3).  ERA= 2.37.

Pat Young and Jake McCasland make their 2015 debuts.  Presumably they were held back in extended spring training to either rehab injuries or work on some things.
