Down on the Farm: 4/9/2019

AAA  Las Vegas Aviators bombed the Sacramento River Cats 10-2:

Andrew Suarez LHP- 3 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 3 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 10.29.
DJ Myers RHP- 3 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K's.  ERA= 0.00.
Sam Coonrod RHP- 1.1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 0.00.

Rough start to the season for Andrew Suarez.  Myers moves up from San Jose after a poor outing there and dominates in AAA.  Carlos Sano also came up from SJ but gave up 4 runs in 0.2 IP.

AA  Bowie Baysox defeated the Richmond Flying Squirrels 8-5:

Levi Michael CF- 1 for 5, BB.  BA= .100.
Jalen Miller 2B- 2 for 5.  BA= .250.
Ryan Howard SS- 2 for 4, BB, SB(1).  BA= .250.
Chris Shaw DH- 1 for 3, 2 BB.  BA= .300.
Jacob Heyward RF- 2 for 4, BB, Assist(2B).  BA= .385.

All 9 of the Squirrels hits were singles.  They added in 7 BB's.

A+ San Jose Giants edged out the Stockton Ports 4-3:

Heliot Ramos CF- 1 for 4, HR(1).  BA= .105.
Manuel Geraldo SS- 2 for 4, 2 2B.  BA= .273.
Jose Marte RHP- 2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 1.80.
Camilo Doval RHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K.  ERA= 27.00.
JJ Santa Cruz LHP- 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 4 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 0.00.
Israel Cruz RHP- 2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 0 K's.  ERA= 0.00.

Giants pitchers were effectively wild issuing 11 BB's against 9 K's.

A  Greenville Drive topped the Augusta Greenjackets 2-1(7 innings, Game 1 of DH):

Ismael Munguia DH- 1 for 3, 2B.  BA= .133.
Diego Rincones LF- 1 for 3, 3B.  BA= .333.
Sean Hjelle RHP- 5 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 4 K's, GO/AO= 6/2.  ERA= 3.00.

GJ's mustered just 2 hits in the game.  Hjelle now has 9 K's and 1 BB in 9 IP with a GO/AO= 1.80.

Threw out two runners attempting to steal + picked-off two more, including one with the bases loaded to end an inning. Big plays in a one-run win. Also doubled off the right-center fence."..Gotta love it

    1. Great work on these Dr- but any reason for leaving Bart / other top guys off some days ?

      He's the biggest one I'm looking for, even if he goes 0-4. Really want to see when he hits an XBH and throws 4 runners out
