Austin Slater 1B- 0 for 2, 2 BB.  BA= .200.
Andrew Suarez LHP- 6.1 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 5.40.
Sam Coonrod RHP- 1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K's Save(2).  ERA= 0.00.

Andrew Suarez struggled all spring, but really found his groove today in a very tough venue for pitchers.

Miller and Shaw hit the first dingers of the season for the Squirrels.  Love to see no walks from Garrett Williams.

  2. Steve Okert, after 3 poor outings, has allowed 1 hit, no walks in his last 3 (3 IP), all on the road, 2 in LV 1 in SLC.
    Mac is 3 for 8 in last 2 games, all singles.
    River Cats are in a 19-game stretch with NO days off.

I really enjoy reading your posts every morning, something to maybe think about going forward....have you ever consider adding the records next to the team's names, people like my self we like it better coming here to see how is the organization doing instead of going to the milb web site, in my personal experience i always have to go back to the official web site to find the records because i lose tracking of it, thanks and a lot of appreciation for your hard work and dedication to this blog.

    1. Thank you for the kind words and suggestion. I only have so much time to write these up. The reason why I don't include team W-L records in Down on the Farm is because team W-L records are relatively unimportant compared to prospect performance and development.
