I think we could see Williams Jerez in SF before the season is over, especially if the Giants are sellers at the trade deadline.

I remember when Sam Selman was a sleeper draft prospect from Vanderbilt I really liked all the way back in 2012. He was a 2'nd round draft pick by KC. He's kicked around since then. Maybe the Giants are the organization to give him some traction on his career?

ReplyDeleteOTOH, Hunter Strickland, after 2 shutdown saves got pounded in his third appearance which landed him on the IL: Strickland has been moved to the 60-day injured list with a Grade 2 right lat strain and is likely to be on the shelf for at least two months.
The Giants apparently got nothing for nothing!
