AAA  Sacramento River Cats blanked the Tacoma Rainiers 1-0:

Ramiro Pena 2B- 2 for 4, HR(1), SB(2).  BA= .317.
Albert Suarez RHP- 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 2.37.

Albert Suarez is 26 years old.  The Giants signed him as a minor league FA out of the Angels organization.  He's never pitched badly in the minors and sometimes has been very good.  He had a 2.98 ERA for the AA Arkansas Travelers last year.  Perhaps his relatively low K rates coupled with a strong flyball tendency has kept him from being promoted in the past?

Cole is hitting .297 over his last 10 games.  Horan is making the most of limited playing time.  He has just 23 AB's in 14 Games Played.  Disaster Start for Mejia who could not get out of the first inning.
