It won't be a sweep as the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes defeated the Fresno Grizzlies 4-2:
Johnny Monell- 2 for 3, 2 HR, HBP.
Kelvin Marte- 5 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 5 K's.
Hector Correa- 1.2 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 0 BB, 1 K.
Monell's LH bat would make a nice backup to Buster Posey someday, don't you think? Correa continues the trend of pitchers struggling after promotion in the Giants system.
Game 3 tomorrow at the Epicenter in Rancho Cucamonga. I've had a change in schedule, so may be going to this game instead of Sunday night. Will make a post when I know for sure.
