The Giants honored the 2012 Championship alumni with win that as not as close as the score appears.
Lamonte Wade Jr DH- 2 for 3, 2B, HR(4), BB. BA= .200. Lamonte is finally healthy and heated up. He is batting .385 over his last 7 games with 3 HR's. He was the offensive hero in this games as he accounted for both Giants runs. He doubled in first inning and scored on Joc Pederson LF's double then hit a solo HR in the 3'rd for an insurance run. That was all Logan Webb RHP and Camilo Doval RHP needed to cruise to the win.
Logan Webb RHP- 8 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 9 K's, GO/AO= 10/1. ERA= 3.00. A dominant start for Webb both in K's and groundballs. In the process, Webb surpassed last year's IP total(150 vs 148.1) and lowered his ERA under last year's(3.00 vs 3.03).
Camilo Doval RHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K, Save(17). ERA= 2.81. I know I've said this before and had it come back to bite, but Doval is looking a lot more comfortable in the 9'th inning lately. Seems to correlate with the addition of the 2-seam FB.
