  2. Melissa Lockard has a terrific interview with Giants farm director Kyle Haines in The Athletic: State of the farm system.
    Starting with Villar and Johnson, they cover the tremendous growth and adjustments by Carter Aldrete and Vaun Brown, ending with "And Vaun has all the tools to be a five-tool player."
    Then Ramos, Bart, Luciano, Matos, Pomares, Schmitt, Bishop, Baily, McCray, Arteaga, and, of course, Harrison. And more.
    There's been a lot written about how the "great promise" of the draftees has wained, but this article will get your juices flowing. Too bad it's behind a pay wall but those who are able to read it you will have some faith restored.
