Tim Hudson pitched a Quality Start, but the Giants offense continued to struggle to bring baserunners home and lost their 5'th game in a row. Key Lines:
Tim Hudson- 7 IP, 8 H, 3 R, 0 BB, 4 K's. ERA= 2.03. Not much to say here. Huddy pitched well enough to win. The offense did not back back him up.
The Loss dropped the NL West trailing Giants 3.5 games behind the first place Rockies who are at 6-2. Second place depends on the outcome of the Dodgers game against Seattle where they trail the Mariners 5-4 in the 9'th inning. The Dodgers record pending the outcome is 4-3. The Padres improved their record to 5-4 with a 5-1 win over the D'Backs who dropped to 4-4.
Tim Lincecum tries to prevent a series sweep by the Rockies tomorrow facing lefty Tyler Matzek.

Sigh... We're sitting here with 24 runs and *should* have scored somewhere between 30 and 35, but we have left way too many men stranded on base. And I know it's just one of those things and that sometime during the season, it'll likely swing the other way. But, right now it's just painfully ugly...
