Matt Duffy(SS)- 3 for 5, HR(1).  BA= .367.

Kurrasch gets the bump up.  Gardeck has 59 K's in 44.2 IP and 24 in his last 13.2 IP.

  1. Had hoped to see ESCOBAR pitch last night but missed out...My eldest son made the game and said that Escobar was unhittable and mostly relied on a fast ball which he located all over the place..and the NH hitters didn't have a chance against him ...(or HALL...)..Artgicles said the same and it's now almost 17 inning of scoreless ball for the 21 year old Escobar in AA...Not bad..

Two of my dark horses early in the season were Duffy and Austin Fleet...ANother great game form Duffy...and Fleet keeps on pitching pretty well in Fresno..

Speaking of dark horses, DEVIN HARRIS is putting together a pretty impressive season with a lot of power down in SJ..but I think he needs to be in RICH..

    1. I hope Escobar keeps it up. I am just guessing here, but his ceiling is probably higher than Surkamp and Kickham? If he can at least nail down the 5th starter spot, we will one last problem to worry about...perhaps just need a 4th starter after Madison, Cain, Vogelsong.

Steve, what kind of pitcher is Fleet? Thanks.

    2. Devin Harris was my late round sleeper from a couple of drafts ago. The guy I had been following and was ecstatic to see the Giants take with a late round pick. He hasn't progressed as fast as I hoped, but maybe he's a late bloomer. AA will be a huge test.
