Thairo Estrada 2B- 2 for 4. BA= .352.
Bryce Eldridge 1B- 1 for 4. BA= .250.
Christian Koss SS- 2 for 3, 2B, HR(5). BA= .270.
Bryce Eldridge makes his AAA debut and gets a hit. Can anyone explain why Michael Conforto still has a roster spot and Thairo Estrada doesn't?(it's a rhetorical question).
AA: Richmond Flying Squirrels reversed the River Cats score against the Altoona Curve:
Jairo Pomares RF- 1 for 3, 2B, 2 BB. BA= .240.
Matt Higgins 1B- 1 for 5, HR(1). BA= .253.
Diego Velasquez 2B- 2 for 4, 2B, BB. BA= .315.
Justin Wiskkoski 3B- 2 for 5, 2B. BA= .250.
Jimmy Glowenke SS- 1 for 3, 2B, BB. BA= .201.
Wil Jensen RHP- 4 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 6 K's, GO/AO= 3.43.
Wil Jensen is a guy you never read about but the undrafted free agent signing from 2020 has never had an ERA of 4.00 or above in 4 MiLB seasons while putting up decent K ratios.
Eldridge probably isn't (quite?) in the Bryce Harper—Juan Soto—Manny Machado class (MLB batters below 20 yo), but there is time to get him a Major League AB this year before his 20th birthday October 20!
