Kolton Ingram LHP- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's. ERA= 2.86.
Tyler Myrick RHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, Save(7). ERA= 3.18.
The Cats got 4 consecutive 2-out singles in the 8'th inning to produce their only 2 runs of the game. Trevor McDonald was added to the 40-man roster last season. His season did not start until May 14 and he worked his way through 4 levels after starting a rehab assignment in the ACL. His ERA in 4 September starts in the PCL is 3.43 over 21 IP, GO/AO= 2.13. He will likely start next season in Sacramento but is an option for a potential call up midseason.
River Cats came from behind to score 2 in the 8th after 2 were out with consecutive singles by Meckler, Estrada, Eldridge, and Matos.
ReplyDeleteExcept for Will Wilson (.190/.301/.215/.516) and without the promotions to SF, the 'Cats can still put up an interesting lineup. Maybe Bishop is in the not so interesting group.
Should the Giants give up on Estrada (79 PAs in Sacramento: .319/.380/.486/.866) because he was hampered with injuries for most of 2024 with the Giants? He's still only 28 yo.
Is Marco Luciano a bust? He has only 1 verifiable skill at this point with his power, and that has disappeared at the major league level. He has no position. According to Fangraphs, his hit tool is not at major league level at all. There were jobs open for him to take in the past month, and he is now on the bus back to Sacramento. It doesn’t look good,
