Not much more to say about Eldridge. As tempting as it is to say he should promoted to Richmond for the last two weeks of the season, it's probably best to let him finish on a high note for Eugene and start next season in AA.

If Farhan isn’t fired then obviously he isn’t going to give up on his first round baby Bednar just like he hasn’t given up on his first round baby Bishop. Both are busts. Especially Bishop

Deletetough decision coming on hunter bishop, he's rule 5 eligible this offseason. tossup whether or not he gets protected since he has shown some flashes this season. bednar likely gets one more year, as much as it's time for farhan to bounce, i do think greg johnson will give them one more year with extra eyes.
DeleteFZ tends to be penurious with Rule 5 protect adds. I would bet a fair amount that neither Bednar nor Bishop are in line for a 40-man roster add this November.

ReplyDeleteBryce Eldridge was just called up to Richmond. Good for him to prepare for next season. Other teams are moving up their top prospects quickly also. Should be fun following his progression!
