Jhonny Level is probably a top 5 Giants prospect at this point, definitely top 10. After batting .191 in June he hit .323 in July and is on tear in 5 games in August batting .389 with 4 HR's.
If Bryce Eldridge (19 yo, 6'7" 223 lbs) and Jhonny Level (17 yo, 5' 10" 154) end up in the same Giant infield, it will be a sight to see!
ReplyDeleteRon Wotus was asked on knbr about a prospect he's seen that fans can get excited about. He had high praise for Bryce Eldridge but cautioned not to get too excited until he reaches AAA. Like listening to his knbr weekend segments. during Giants pregame. He thought Fitzgerald should have been playing from the beginning of the season. A team needs to be successful at evaluating their own Minor leaguers too.
ReplyDeleteWhat are your thoughts on Sabin? We seem to have most positions covered with legit prospects but there seems to be a hole at 3b. Does he have the potential to be that guy in 2-3 years?
ReplyDeleteRight. now my three favorite minor league stars are Eldridge, Level and Oliver Tejada 902 OPS 305 batting average 4 home rums 36 rbi's and like Level just 17 years old!!! Lisbel Diaz is looking good as well. Nice to see Tibbs playing in San Jose. He is going to be a game changer at bat
