Abiatal Avelino SS- 1 for 3, HR(10), 2 BB.  BA= .288.
Chris Shaw 1B- 1 for 3, HR(12), HBP.  BA= .299.
Williams Jerez LHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K.  ERA= 4.79.
Fernando Abad LHP- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K.  ERA= 3.22.

Abiatal Avelino has been remarkably consistent hitting .286 over his last 10 games.  .286 pre-All-Star and .308 post-All-Star.  Again, Jerez, Abad and Selman are nice replacement options for potential Watson/Smith trades, but I would not count on them the way the Giants can currently count on Watson and Smith.

This was Casey Mize' 3'rd appearance after coming off the DL.  He's clearly not the same pitcher he was before he got hurt.
