Hey team! Let's gather around the Hot Stove and wish everybody a day of peach, hope and love. Oh, and I am sure there isn't a Giants fan alive who would not be thrilled to find a contract for Corbin Burnes under the Christmas Tree. We'll save Roki Sasaki for New Year's wishes.

Happy Christmas to Dr. B., and to all the bloggers who add to this site. Xmas wish list:
ReplyDelete1) Corbin or Roki sign with Giants
2) Giants make the playoffs
3) Jung Hoo Lee's slash line is around or above .300/.410/.375
4) Chapman and Adames stay healthy all year and match their career batting highs
5) Logan Webb wins the Cy Young
6) Late Night Lamont leads mlb in OPS
7) Ryan Walker saves 45 games
If #6 happens, the Giants win the WS! At the very least, it'll be one of the more fun, full seasons Giants fans will have had in looong time! COUNT ME IN!
DeleteAnd yes, Dr B, Peace, Love, and Hope to you and your family as well and to the best blog on the Internet.

Good list.
DeleteJ Lee doesn't have to be THAT good, but let's wish for it!
8) Buster Posey MLB Executive of the Year
DeleteMerry Christmas Dr B and to all Giants fans who enjoy your great blog!
ReplyDeleteHey Doc can we add the #2 ranked international prospect behind Sasaki, Josuer de Jesus Gonzalez to your new years wish list. Exciting to read his scouting report 5'11" 170 ibs switch hitting SS who has the ceiling of a. Francisco Lindor and Jose Reyes.. he's been linked to the Giants for a while, so hoping his signing goes thru in January. Would be exciting to be fortunate to sign Gonzalez and Sasaki!
DeleteMerry Christmas to all that celebrate and happy 25th of December to those who don’t!! Adames is better than any xmas goft we have gotten as fans in 6 years at least so we got that going for us which is nice!! Roki would be amazing for his youth and talent and price tag but I will take Burnes instead or as well. I want more bats so whatever needs to be done to get a real DH or 1B I am all for it. Can’t wait for baseball and thanks Doc for all you do!

The Red Sox are in agreement with right-hander Walker Buehler on a one-year deal worth $21.05MM, according to a report from Russell Dorsey of Yahoo Sports.
ReplyDeleteThe deal ... includes incentives that could raise the value beyond that aforementioned figure.
Which Walker Buehler will they get? The regular season Buehler or the post season version.
$21,050,000 plus incentives. MLBTR predicted one year, $15MM. Ia this crazy, or is it the norm for 2024-25?
Thank you everybody for the very kind words. FYI: My very first post was on 12/20/2009 so we have completed 15 years of blogging. In that time I have made a total of 8126 posts. Over 5.6 million readers have visited to the site and left over 50 thousand comments. And I agree it's a great blog if I may say so myself. I want to thank everybody who reads and comments and helps make it great.
