  1. Doc, do you think Joey Bart gets Arizona Fall selection?
who else do you suspect to be the ranked choices?

    1. Between college ball, the draft and his first pro season, Bart has had a long go this year. On top of that he is a catcher. I would let him rest rather than sending him to the AFL.

As for who the Giants might send, the Giants generally don't make the AFL a priority and are usually the last organization to fill their slots. Personally, I think prospects are probably better off either resting or working out in Instructionals camp.

Let's see: Shaun Anderson and Conner Menez might be possible SP's that go. Tyler Rogers?

On the offensive side, maybe Chris Shaw? CJ Hinojosa could use some more AB's. Ryan Howard has played virtually every day all year. He might be better off resting? Maybe Jonah Arenado?

From the lower minors, maybe Heath Quinn could use some extra AB's?

    2. Sam Coonrod! Coming off TJ late this season and just working himself back into game shape in Arizona. Perfect for getting more innings in the AFL.
