This season has been a replay of 2017 for Ghordy Santos with a torrid August barely getting his BA over the Mendoza Line.  Will that be enough for a plane ticket to Arizona next year?

  1. Bart: They had to know what was going on with Posey. So, yeah, pushing Bart to A+ for August would have made sense.

  2. Does the hip surgery necessarily limit his catching?
It doesn't seem that Posey's defense suffered like his power numbers did when he could no longer turn his lower body into his swing and became, essentially, a right field puncher.
His strength in handling the staff didn't deteriorate -- the pitchers didn't always hit their targets but he seems to know them better than they know themselves. Whether he hit or not, his W-L record behing the plate was always good, unlike Hundley with whom the Giants rarely won unless Hundley hit a ton.
