2023(College- Auburn): .336/.429/.570, 13 HR, 5 SB, 30 BB, 50 K, 263 PA.
Giants 3'rd round draft pick in 2023. Put up solid numbers as a college SS. MLB predraft scouting report with enough range and arm to play SS in the pros. Showed some pop in his first pro experience but the K rate is alarming for a college draftee at such low levels. Should get a better read on him in his first full pro season in 2024.
I like that the Giants used early picks in 2023 draft on middle infielders: Walker Martin, Cole Foster, Maui Ahuna - all Shortstops and Quinn McDaniel 2nd baseman. Good to have middle infield depth in the system. Off topic- heard that MLB has 175 free agents who haven't signed with 4 weeks left before spring training. Gotta wonder what is going on, it's not good for MLB. It's hard to grade Giants off-season yet. I can see it affects trade market with so many players available in free agency.
