Well, Johnny Cueto looks ready. Unfortunately it's probably at least a week too late to make a difference in the Wild Card race. Do you activate him to give him a head start on next season or shut him down and save whatever he has left in the arm for next season?

Raffi Vizcaino RHP- 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K's. ERA= 3.66.
I've seen talk of promoting Joey Bart to Sacramento for the PCL playoffs. Dylan Davis has a successful AA debut as a pitcher. He had a 7.15 ERA in Augusta but had just one really bad appearance, 6 ER in 0.1 IP on 8/11. He's 26 yo so still has time to make it as a MLB RP.

A+ Stockton Ports pounded the San Jose Giants 12-5:
Diego Rincones LF- 2 for 3, 2 BB. BA= .262.
David Villar 3B- 1 for 4, SF. BA= .259.
Manuel Geraldo SS- 2 for 4, 2B. BA= .248.
Manuel Geraldo has hit .293 in the second half after hitting just .194 in the first half. That has been the pattern pretty much throughout his pro career.

The Big Kid From Taiwan has 39 K's and 7 BB's in 29 IP since his trade to the Giants organization.

Caleb Kilian moves up to his appropriate level and has a successful debut. I'm bullish on him despite his 8'th round draft pedigree based on his scouting report and video. The frame looks like it's still projectable despite being a college draftee.

They should activate Johny Cueto. He sounds anxious to pitch in MLB again, he's making a lot of $$, and I can't wait to see him pitch again as is many Giants fans I'm sure. It's ok that they're out of the playoff race, but this still has a good chance to be a good season. The development of Heliot Ramos and Joey Bart among others give a lot of hope for the future as well. Are you surprised Bart is hitting 316 in AA?
