Quin Cotton is a name to remember for a potential Giants 2'nd round pick.  He's a compact, athletic OF who is a high contact hitter at the plate with gap power and some speed.  He comes from the same school as Giants 2018 3'rd round pick, Jake Wong.  Of particular note are his excellent performances with wood bats although some scouts may be turned off by his low walk rates.  He seems like a player the old scouting regime would like better than the new one.  He is ranked outside the top 50 draft prospects by both MLB Pipeline and Fangraphs.  I have seen at least one mock draft in which he goes to the Giants in Round 2.
