Down on the Farm: 7/26/2026

AAA:  Sacramento River Cats outscored the Oklahoma City Comets 8-6.

Turner Hill LF- 2 for 4, BB.  BA= .331.
Scott Bandura CF- 2 for 5.  BA= .300.
Parks Harber 3B- 4 for 5, 2B.  BA= .415.
Nate Furman PH- 1 for 1, HR(7).  BA= .282.
Michael Fulmer RHP- 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 0 K.  ERA= 3.12.

Cats scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 9'th including Furman's walk-off grand slam HR.  Anyone have a take on why Fulmer never got called up to pitch for the Giants?  I don't.  I know his fastball was barely 90 MPH in spring training but given how dreadful the Giants bullpen was and as well as he's pitched for Sacramento I feel like he should have the opportunity.

AA:  Richmond Flying Squirrels defeated the Hartford Yard Goats 5-2.

Trevor Cohen CF- 2 for 4.  BA= .243.
Gavin Kilen SS- 2 for 3, 2B, BB.  BA= .344.
Logan Martin RHP- 2.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 5 K's.  ERA= 3.44.
Shane Rademacher RHP- 1.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 4.61.
Cristian Alvarado RHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K's, Save(5).  ERA= 2.79.

I was a little down on Gavin Kilen early in the year but he ended up with solid numbers in A+ and is doing very well so far in AA.  After going 0 for 10 in his first two AA games, Trevor Cohen is 9 for 27 over his last 7 games.

A+:  Eugene Emeralds crushed the Everett Aquasox 17-3.

Jhonny Level SS- 2 for 4, 2 BB.  BA= .291.
Hayden Jatczak 1B- 2 for 4, 2 BB.  BA= .375.
Lisbel Diaz CF- 2 for 6, 2B.  BA= .264.
Zander Darby 3B- 2 for 6, HR(11).  BA= .268.
Jose Astudillo RF- 4 for 5, BB, 2 SB(5).  BA= .375.
Robert Hipwell DH- 2 for 3, HR(4), 3 BB, SB(2).  BA= .173.
Mauricio Estrella RHP- 2.2 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K.  ERA= 0.79.
Ryan Slater RHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 3.63.

A:  Ontario Tower Buzzers beat the San Jose Giants 8-4.

Luis Hernandez SS- 1 for 4, 2B, BB.  BA= .167.
Lorenzo Meola 2B- 1 for 4, 2B, BB.  BA= .257.
Jeremiah Jenkins 1B- 1 for 4, 2B, BB.  BA= .246.
Dario Reynoso 3B- 1 for 2, 2B, 2 BB.  BA= .289.
Carlos Gonzalez C- 1 for 2, 2B, 2 BB.  BA= .281.
Leandro Rodriguez LHP- 4 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 5 K's.  ERA= 4.50.

If a player doubled and walked in 5 PA's every game, he would have a slash line of .250/.400/.500 or an OPS of .900.

ACL Giants season is finished.

DSL was idle as usual on Sundays.

  1. Double, walk in 5 PA's every game compared to Arraez:
.250/.400/.500 or an OPS of .900
.327/.363/.451 or an OPS of .814

  3. Rumors of a Arraez trade to Texas Rangers for LHP Dalton Pence and INF Yolfran Castillo.
Robbie Ray to Chicago Cubs for 2B/OF James Triantos, RHP Kaleb Wing, and RHP Brandon Birdsell.
Maybe add Tyler Mahle to either deal to sweeten it up.
Trade Harrison Bader for a bucket of used baseballs.
Yes or no on these trade proposals?
