ReplyDeleteJohn Michael Bertrand, LHP, Richmond, continues to throw well. Although not a big strikeout pitcher, he threw seven perfect innings on Saturday, and named Eastern League Pitcher of the Week.
ReplyDeleteIt was the longest outing by a Flying Squirrels pitcher since 2022.
FWIW, his perfect outing came on the same day his younger brother, JD Bertrand, was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the fifth round of the NFL Draft.
