Sac is 13-6, Ems are 10-2 — the other 2 are hovering under .500 but not a lot...
ReplyDeleteAndrew Kachel has quite a start this year after a not-so-great 11 games at the end of 2023.
ReplyDeleteHe has walked 9 times plus a HBP in 41 PAs, he leads the NW league in OBP, SLG, & OPS, but 2nd to teammate Matt Higgins in Average.
In fact, 3 Ems (includes C Onil Perez) are at the top of BA and OBP.
Sac is running all over the place this year. Stretching singles into doubles if the OFers are lagging. Stealing a bunch. I've seen them attempt 4 double steals this year on MiLB.tv, and I haven't watched that many games.
ReplyDeleteVillar's HR last night was not a cheap one.
After that super-cold start, Casey Schmidt continues to be hot. 9-game hitting streak, 7-game RBI streak. Total of 18 RBIs over those 7 games.
Some truly good bats and arms scattered about the farm and a very good team close by in Sacramento..
