AAA:  Sacramento River Cats pounded the El Paso Chihuahuas 9-4.

Heliot Ramos CF- 2 for 4, 2B, BB, SB(3).  BA= .333.

Casey Schmitt SS- 2 for 4, 2 2B.  BA= .333.

Will Wilson 3B- 2 for 4, HR(1).  BA= .182.

Clint Coulter RF- 1 for 3, HR(1), BB.  BA= .368.

Ricardo Genoves C- 0 for 2, BB, SF.  BA= .333.

Tristan Beck RHP- 5 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 0 BB, 3 K.  ERA= 4.32.

 

Heliot Ramos seems to be playing all 3 OF positions on a rotation.  Casey Schmitt is getting work at both 3B and SS.  Austin Wynns C as supposed to be the starting C for this game but was a late scratch, presumably due to the injury to Roberto Perez C for the Giants.

AA:  Reading Fightin Phils vs Richmond Flying Squirrels postponed by rain.  Makeup doubleheader scheduled for today.

A+:  Everett Aquasox outlasted the Eugene Emeralds 4-3 in 11 innings.

Grant McCray CF- 3 for 5, 2B, 3B, SB(1).  BA= .600.

Wade Meckler LF- 3 for 4, 2B, BB.  BA= .750.

Carson Ragsdale RHP- 4 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 3 BB, 4 K's.  ERA= 2.25.

Nick Sinacola RHP- 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 0.00.

Jose Cruz RHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K.  ERA= 0.00.

Tyler Myrick RHP- 2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K.  ERA= 0.00.

McCray and Meckler look like the two biggest names to watch in the Ems lineup.  Ragsdale trying to come back after missing almost all of last season.

A:  Fresno Grizzlies mauled the San Jose Giants 9-5.

Onil Perez C- 2 for 4, HR(1).  BA= .500.

Jose Ramos SS- 2 for 4, 2B.  BA= .250.

Hayden Birdsong RHP- 2 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 6 K's.  ERA= 9.00.

Jack Choate LHP- 2.1 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 5 K's.  ERA= 7.71.

Onil Perez is a 20 yo C who hit .291 in the DSL in. 2021 and .275 in the ACL last season.  Sleeper in the system.  Jose Ramos is also 20 yo from Colombia who slashed .272/.400/.422 in the ACL last season.  Birdsong was the 6'th round pick in last year's draft while Choate was drafted in round 9.
