Hjelle has allowed just 3 ER in 18 IP over his last 4 starts. He would seem to be next in line for a call up.

This was Kyle Harrison's best start since his promotion to AA. Walk rate needs to improve but otherwise a dominant start.

Lots of roster shuffling in the minors this week. Almost a whole new lineup in San Jose.
Is there some reason they don’t move Vaun Brown up? It seems like he has nothing left to prove in low A and he’s already old for the level.Seems like he needs to be moved up to see what he can do.
ReplyDeleteGood question. All I can say is I long ago gave up trying to understand minor league player placement and promotions. Lots of factors other than individual player performance go into the calculations.
