High A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes held off the San Jose Giants 4-3 to take a 2-0 lead in their best of 5 Cal League Championship series:
Angel Villalona(1B)- 2 for 4. BA= .302.
Brian Ragira(DH)- 2 for 4, 2B. BA= .387.
Jordan Johnson(RHP)- 6 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 9 K's. ERA= 3.00.
All stats are for postseason only. This was Johnson's most dominant start since his promotion to SJ. Great jumping off point for next season!
The series moves to San Jose with 3 elimination games standing between the Little Giants and a Cal League championship. Christian Jones takes the mound tonight.
