High A Visalia Rawhide topped the San Jose Giants 6-5:
Chuckie Jones(RF)- 2 for 4, 2B, Sac. BA= .278.
Christian Arroyo(SS)- 2 for 3, 2B, BB, SF. BA= .263.
Jordan Johnson(RHP)- 6 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 2 BB, 4 K's. ERA= 6.00.
Ray Black(RHP)- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's. ERA= 0.00.
This was another tight game on the heels of a long extra-inning game the night before. It came down to the SJ Giants not having most of their best relief pitchers available for this one. Johnson's challenge for next season is to turn his stuff into more effective results. I don't completely understand why Ray Black is still stuck in San Jose. If he can stay healthy, a big if with him, I would hope to see him in SF sometime next season. Just hoping he can help the Giants with that triple digit FB before his arm falls off completely.
