More silly ball in the PCL.  Every pitcher to appear in this game on both teams allowed at least 1 ER.

A  Augusta Greenjackets stung the Greenville Drive 7-2:

Anyesber Sivira 2B- 2 for 4, 2B.  BA= .500.

Aynesber Sivira seems like a dynamic player, but doesn't seem to hit consistently.  Aaron Bond breaks out of an 0 for 16 slump(and 1 for 24).

  1. Chris Shaw heating up - wonder if teams will keep there prospects in AA longer vs sending them to the PCL.

  2. Maybe AA hitting numbers are more reliable vs PCL AAA juiced ball numbers, i.e. Chris Shaw AA .289 is a more promising MLB hitter than Mike Gerber AAA .342. One way to find out...

    1. Sabean said the same thing several years ago. AA numbers are better indicators for hitters. I believe Crawford and Sandoval skipped AAA all together semi-skipped it. Same for Duffy.
AAA is an extended bench and a place to patch for weaknesses. Who was the last solid player who became a p solid position player after spending extended time at AAA?
