There is an original article up on MLBTR linked to the left analyzing what we will call Farhan's Follies aka his search for a competitive outfield.  I urge readers to go check it out.

The Giants officially enter the Opener Age today in response to the SP's abysmal record of giving up first inning runs.  Nick Vincent will throw the first pitch.  No word on how many he will throw or whether he will give way to originally announced SP Tyler Beede or to LHP Derek Holland.

  1. Been awhile since I've seen so much OF talent at AAA / Farm ..............does Z get credit?

  2. I think 2020 SF outfield could be T Austin, Duggar and Yazstremski. Mac better start hitting the ball again soon, I'd say an 'extended' look would only be through the end of May? Then Altherr gets a chance at his 'extended look'.

  3. Kiley McDaniel's recent mock draft has the Giants selecting UNLV SS Bryson Scott with their #1 pick. They are also looking at Kameron Misner a college OF, and pitcher Alex Manoff of Virginia. Would you be happy with either of those players? What positions would you like to see them use their high picks on?
