Unfortunately Marco Luciano SS went 0 for 4 and was charged with 4 errors, 3 fielding, 1 throwing. He has 11 Errors in 64 games which also means he had just 7 coming into the game. Of course there is more to fielding than errors/fld% but Luciano's error rate is average to low for a shorstop at this level. 4 errors in one game, though......!

That is about the same rate of errors/game, Doc.
ReplyDeleteYes, that is the point.
Deletethat would be one of those rare times i would pull a player for errors. it wouldn't surprise me if luciano rides the pine today.
ReplyDeleteA little disappointed, notwithstanding the injury, that Luciano hasn't yet taken A ball by storm yet, given he's billed as something of a phenom.
ReplyDeleteGotta wonder if his back is OK.
