  1. How about Austin LF Duggar CF and Williamson RF - send Pillar and Parra down the road and bring up Gerber for 4th OF?

  2. I guess Austin deserves a chance but, If you ask me, Mac WIlliamson..Guy is totally on a rampage down in SAC and, more importantly, seems to have refound his power stroke.....check out the bomb he hit last night at https://twitter.com/RiverCats/status/1122353257555222528...Looks like the player the Giants recalled last year BEFORE the injury..I hope him not being one of Farhan's boys from the OF (all of which have fallen by the wayside except maybe Gerber) and being from the old regime wont be a problem....We'll see...Also interesting that Austin Slater was playing 2B..Great stuff from Beedee...Hopefully the starters recover from this little blip and regain theur tradeable form so that Beede can be in SF rotation later this year

    1. I did not catch Slater playing 2B. Excellent news. My guess is that if MAC is still hitting two weeks from now they will have to call him up - otherwise will be gross negligence by FO.

  3. At some point, I think sooner rather than later, Farhan has to address the Mac issue. His numbers and the power potential he brings cannot be ignored. As for Beede, it's absolutely encouraging. His arm talent is undeniable, but taking more time to build up his confidence is the right way to go.

By the way, something else that has to go are the bullpen mounds. 81 games a years the Giants put their corner outfielder at risk of injury.

  4. Problem with Mac is History 101: what if you let Pillar or Parra or anyone go, what do you do when Mac gets hurt?
The weakest link these days is Joe -- are we ready to lose him? Would you rather have Solarte?
Too risky to cut lose of the OFers, isn't it?
