AAA Game 1  Omaha Storm Chasers edged the Fresno Grizzlies 3-2:

Andrew Susac(DH)- 2 for 3, 2B.  BA= .287.
Jason Berken(RHP)- 7 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 1 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 5.08.

Susac basically gets out of bed hitting.  Maybe he hits well enough to move him off catcher where he seems to get injured a lot?

AAA Game 2  Omaha Storm Chasers blanked the Fresno Grizzlies 5-0:

Erik Cordier(RHP)- 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 K's.  ERA= 4.80.

AA  Richmond Flying Squirrels shut out the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 1-0:

Kelvin Marte(LHP)- 7.1 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 6 K's.  ERA= 4.26.
Cody Hall(RHP)- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's, Save(4).  ERA= 3.41.

Marte's progress has been slowed by injuries, but I've seen him pitch and think he could be a 4'th or 5'th starter for somebody in the major leagues.

High A  Stockton Ports whitewashed the San Jose Giants 3-0:

Ben Turner(Catcher)- 3 for 4.  BA= .286.
Santiago Casilla(RHP)- 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 0 K.  ERA= 0.00.

Is Ben Turner another emerging catching prospect?  Casilla seems to be ready to rejoin the Giants for the upcoming road trip.  Generally not a good day for Giants hitting prospects.

Low A  DH between the Augusts Greenjackets and the Savannnah Sand Gnats rained out.

Short Season  Vancouver Canadians defeated the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes 3-1:

Tyler Hollick(CF)- 2 for 4.  BA= .571.
Craig Massoni(1B)- 2 for 3, 2B.  BA= .400.
Jose Reyes(RHP)- 5 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 0 BB, 7 K's.  ERA= 3.60.
Kirk Singer(RHP)- 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 0.00
Raymundo Montero(RHP)- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 0.00.

Singer seems to be a minor league FA signee.   Drafted by the Pirates in 2011.  Did not appear until 2013 and got into just 12.1 IP.  Injury?  Giants scouts must have seen something they liked.  He's out of Long Beach St.

DSL  Giants beat the Red Sox 6-5:

Robinson Medrano(RF)- 2 for 4.  BA= .327.

Mikey Edie did not play, so I assume he was injured when he came out of the prior game.
