AAA: Las Vegas Aviators shut down the Sacramento River Cats 1-0.
Blade Tidwell RHP- 6 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 7 K's, 6/2 GO/AO. ERA= 4.86.
Jason Foley RHP- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 0 K. ERA= 4.61.
Tidwell has a 3.42 ERA in June and brought his ERA down from a peak of 6.75 after his May 27 Start. Something I did not realize: Jason Foley is not on a rehab assignment and hasn't been since May 12 when he was assigned to AAA Sacramento. He's still down there because he hasn't pitched well with an ERA of 9.00 in the month of June.
AA: Richmond Flying Squirrels topped the Akron Rubber Ducks 8-7.
Bo Davidson CF- 1 for 2, HR(16), BB. BA= .273.
Parks Harber LF- 2 for 4. BA= .274.
Sabin Ceballos 3B- 1 for 3, HR(10), BB. BA= .235.

Cristian Alvarado RHP- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K's. ERA= 0.00.
Bo Davidson continues his torrid June: .322/.396/.690, 12 HR. Jack Choate his quietly have a strong season as a RP.

DSL: Blue Jays Red beat Giants Black 11-8.
Nelson Lopez SS- 1 for 3, 2B, 2 BB. BA= .263.
DSL: Blue Jays Blue defeated Giants Orange 8-4.
Jose Valdez CF(17 yo)- 3 for 4, 3B, HR(4). BA= .271.
It seems like a down year for the Giants DSL teams mostly because they put all their eggs in the Luis Hernandez basket and he's up in the ACL. Jose Valdez is one 17 yo who seems to be finding traction in the DSL.
Jack Choate quietly has a good season every season
ReplyDeleteJust as I abandon Tidwell as a starter, he does this. Go figure!
