Game Wrap 6/24/2026: Giants 2 A's 1

The Giants were three outs away from a crushing 1-0 loss when Rafael Devers homered over the CF fence to tie it and with two outs, Victor Bericoto hit a mammoth shot to left of center for the walk-off win.  Key Lines:

Rafael Devers DH- 1 for 4, HR(12).  BA= .239.  Home runs can bring redemption and maybe Devers gained some with this game-saving bomb that staved off another crushing loss for the Giants.  Home runs like this are what they hoped to get when they traded for him.

Victor Bericoto LF- 2 for 4, HR(2).  BA= .227.  Bericoto got every bit of the game-winning blast which travelled 445 ft up into the stands just left of CF.  He was in the lineup against a LHP starter after several articles and social media posts detailing how little he and Jonah Cox were playing.

Tyler Mahle RHP- 5.2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 4 K's.  Mahle returns from the IL and looked like the Mahle the Giants hoped for when they signed him.  IDK if he called his own pitches but if that's the trend for Giants pitchers, it seems to be working.

Landen Roupp RHP tries for a series win today facing Jeffrey Springs LHP who comes in with a 5.55 ERA.
