    0.2 IP ?
Maybe a very low pitch count limit?
    Or a problem?

  2. Hitting great for average, Slater looks ready but will that play well enough with one power hitter in SF's future OF?
Maybe he should go to the Turner/Williamson HR instructor?

  3. Anyone know what's with Chris Shaw's K% rate (30 in 70ABs)?

    1. Shaw needs to catch up with his rapid rise in the system.

  4. On Twitter, they were saying BLACK was hitting 101MPH...Still not sure what has been going on in the last week with his decreased activity and Simposn (No slouch either) and Cyr getting the Save Opportunities..Just hoping it wasn't another arm/elbow injury.. Good to see Quinn now hitting for both power and average.....Ruotolo is continuing his mastery as he moves up from Low A Augusta to High A SJ..Giants have some relief arms, that's for sure...I like Anderson, but hope the Giants can draft a stud pitcher with the second pick-----but most mocks are attaching them to a COllege hitter after MIZE goes to Detroit...

  5. Is Alen Hanson exhibiting a SSS flash @ Sacramento or did he come of age at 25 yo?
    Is that possible?
Can a career minor league hitter who never hit above .266 in AAA become a .400+ hitter?
Of course not, but Hanson is tearing it up in Sacramento and there was a rumor about him being a potential CFer -- hey, you Duggar fans (and I am one), how about Alen Hanson?
He's a switch hitter and faster than the speed of sound (that's my story and I'm sticking with it).
    Ho 'bout some Hanson Hoopla?

    1. Alen Hanson has been around the block a few times, has MLB experience and is playing in the PCL so a bit of caution about his future is in order. On the other hand, he was a very highly ranked prospect with the Pirates once upon a time.

  6. Beede: Ugh. Everytime it looks like he's making strides, the control issue raises its ugly head.
