  1. Williamson, Tomlinson, Cole... I will wager that all 3 are on an MLB roster by this time next season. Two will be Giants, one will be part of a trade this summer. But all 3 will be big league contributors very soon. Exciting times for the farm!

  2. Ughh, so Crick making the switch to reliever?

    1. I would not assume that it is a permanent move to the bullpen for Crick, but something obviously needed to change to get that wild hair out of his nose. Hopefully 1 inning without issuing a walk is something he can start building on.

  3. Why is lollis up instead of Parker? That makes no sense.

    1. Maybe because Lollis was performing better in the minors and Parker hadn't looked so good in an earlier callup?

  4. Just finished watching the game archive from last night after seeing Tomlinson's box score. The kid had himself a night for sure. But then again, so did Mac the other night and then turned around and went ofer, so we'll see. They are both very promising and should be looking at a September call you'd think.

As for Lolli over Parker, that was an easy choice. You nailed it Doc. Lolli was tearing it up in AAA. He deserved to get a shot. Now let's hope he can make a hand.

  5. You should watch the July 3 game to see Kelby showing off his defensive skills at SS...he has been doing that since high school!!

    1. Kids got some range and wheels for sure! He would have been up on most teams by now with his skill set, but the Giants are pretty set in the infield across the board. Would love to see him in in orange and black, but I think covechatter has it right. Kelby is going to be up by September and competing for a 25 man spot next spring with an mlb club. In my ideal world, Arias gets the boot next spring with Kelby taking over as the new super utility guy.
