AAA: Sacramento River Cats defeated the Albuquerque Isotopes 6-3.
Luis Matos LF- 1 for 3, HR(8), 2 BB. BA= .359.

Sean Hjelle RHP- 5.1 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 5 K's, GO/AO= 10/0. ERA= 6.06.
Much better start for Hjelle after a couple of crushers. Joey Bart's slash line for August: .265/.351/.456 after a .263/.382/.421 in July. Does he get traded this offseason?

Victor Bericoto LF- 2 for 5. BA= .236.

Eric Silva RHP- 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K's. ERA= 6.25.
Jimmy Glowenke has been flying under the radar but after a slow start in AA he hit .303 in July and .359 in August.

McDaniel and Foster solo shots both came in 7'th inning.
Hoping that FZ will open 2 outfield spots on the 2024 roster to have Matos Meckler, Ramos , maybe other rookies to compete for. Hope the roster consists of 3 veterans and 2 rookies in the outfield to start 2024. Not sure if they expected Matos, Meckler to make the jumps to the big club this quickly and Ramos looking a little better this year
ReplyDeleteBig money already committed to Haniger & Conforto's got an option, and Yaz & Slater both I think entering final pre-FA year -- no windfall for either, but both (MY & AS) should be dealable (& Joc gone)
DeleteWhat are Yaz & Slater worth? Maybe something at a trading deadline, but the Open off-season market, at best they are a combined 1 WAR on the shady side of their hills.
Delete.315-.384-.613 in AAA, how is Ramos not getting a extended look? Free Heliot.
