  1. I called Snodgrass a sleeper two years ago on Sickels and got mocked quick like.

Good for Gary Brown. Hope this is the start of him getting it, and getting moving.

    1. Do you have a scouting report on Snodgrass?? Is he a future big leaguer or a product of the eastern league?

    2. Snodgrass pitched well for SJ last year, so I would not say he is a product of the EL. I saw him pitch one game for SJ last year. From what I remember, his FB runs in the high 80's with sink. He has a 3 pitch mix and is an extreme groundball pitcher. He does not get many K's, so can get BABIP'ed from time to time. Has back of the rotation starter potential.

    3. He is similar to Chris Heston in some ways, nothing stands out, he has to live on the edges and be careful, and when he comes in he will get in trouble. Pitch to contact lefty, ground ball guy. I followed him from the start because i like them lefties. I don't think he is a product of the Eastern, I was surprised and pleased when the Giants made him a starter, I figured he'd be a LOOGY candidate.

  2. The lone bright spot in the Grizzlie game was "Downtown" Gary Brown. He led off the game with a homerun to left center that easily cleared the fence. His double in the later innings was in the left center gap that the center fielder cut off. Due to Gary's speed he easily beat the throw to second, which was a bit off line. Most batters would have been satisfied with a single. The Fresno Bee article said he has been making adjustments and is working on a shorter stroke. Anyone "Waiting for Boof" to reappear in the majors should not hold his or her breath. Boof looks very pedestrian on the mound and not at all impressive. FYI - Peguero was put on the DL after being hit on the top of the helmet during an at bat in yesterday's game. It appeared to glance off the top of his helmet and he walked off the field with assistance. This was probably done out of an abundance of caution. APGiantsfan

  3. I'm a Gary Brown Believer! Maybe he can make the majors in 2014, at this rate.

If only he could learn how to steal properly...
