Mirror image of the Giants game. Second year in a row Ceballos' bat finally comes alive in the last few weeks/days of the season. Giants fans learned the hard way this season that it sometimes doesn't matter what you do late in the season if you faceplanted early.
A+: Eugene Emeralds outscored the Hillsboro Hops 7-5.

Jhonny Level just keeps going. A sigh of relief for Henry Lalane who was coming off a rough start.

It's good to be able to shake off a loss by dreaming on our future superstar. How great is it to follow Young Josuar Gonzalez? Wow!
Good to see Dakota Jordan back on the field for RICHMOND...Jordan and Diaz give the Giants some high ceiling RH outfield bats with speed and power..Hot on the heels of the lefty bats Bandura and Davidson in SAC (and maybe the punch and judy guys Cox and Hill). I think Buster has done a horrific job with the Major League team but an excellent job growing and stocking the system from top to bottom.

The River Cats only had 4 hits through 8 innings and trailed 4-0, struggling against Bees pitchers with ERAs in the 5's and 6's: they were never in this game which was over by the 3rd inning.

Gonzalez has scored 111 runs in 109 career minors games and extraordinarily consistently at that: 52 runs /52 games Dominican, 29R/30G ACL, 30/27 San Jose. I'm just eyeballing his highlight plays, especially the August triples, but he looks as good a base runner as there is in baseball at any level
