Drew Bowlin(RHP)- 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 2.70.

Short outing for Schumer.  I did not see any mention of injury in the game report on the SJ website.  Rosin was dominant in his innings as was Drew Bowlin.  Rosin seems to run hot and cold.

Low A  Augusta Greenjackets blanked the Savannah Sand Gnats 1-0:

Shawn Payne(LF)- 1 for 3, 3B, BB.  BA= .286.
Ben Thomas(1B)- 2 for 4, 2B.  BA= .263.

Crick now has 18 consecutive scoreless frames over 3 starts.

Andrew Cain(RF)- 1 for 4, 2B.  BA= .296.
Kendry Flores(RHP)- 6 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 1.64.
Joe Biagini(RHP)- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K.  ERA= 0.00.
Tyler Mizenko(RHP)- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, Save(3).  ERA= 0.00.

I mentioned this in the comments section of yesterday's Down on the Farm:  Mark Trumbo hit .220 at the same age in Low A ball in 2006 as RafRod is now.  It would take him 5 more years to reach the major leagues and he's a beast now.  Not saying RafRod is going to be Mark Trumbo, but I am saying it's way, way too early to give up on him.  Chuckie Jones continues his solid start for S-K.  Flores is repeating the level but is still just 20 yo.

Rookie AZL  Giants were idle.

DSL  Giants downed the Nationals 7-3:

Carlos Valdez(LF, 18 yo)- 3 for 4, 3B.  BA= .262.
Alejandro Flores(RHP, 18 yo)- 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R,1 BB, 5 K's.  ERA= 1.21.

Valdez is hitting .351/.415/.595 over his last 10 games.
