An Angel V sighting!

Short Season ball starts tomorrow night. S-K roster is up on their website.  Most of the 2012 draftees are on it as well as several holdovers.  Not sure how everybody is going to get PT.

AZL does not start until June 20. Rosters not up yet.

    1. Angel V can't get a visa to the U.S. Seems the authorities think he does not appear to meet the criteria for an elite athlete due to conditioning and medical issues. Most observers believe the real reason is his legal issues in the D.R.

    2. i do not believe he will ever play for the giants

best scenario for him and the team is to sell him off to japan or korea

    3. Angel V is probably a longshot from a number of different angles, but I would not make any definitive statements about his future at this point.

  2. Chuckie Jones hit a walk-off 2 run HR in the 9'th inning to lead the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes to a 2-1 win over a team of college all-stars.

Not sure if it's from last week or this week, but Kyle Crick was MLB's pitching prospect of the week.

  3. Joe Panik was #11 on BA's Hot Sheet this week. They pointed out his continued reversed K/BB of 1/8 as a strong silver lining to his early season struggles.

    1. Maybe I misread the 1/8 or misunderstood it. The ratio is actually 32 BB to 24 K's or 3/4 which is still awesome.

  4. Doc,

What happened with Tyler Graham? Did he retire after the G's DFA'd him? I notice he has not played since...
