AAA Fresno Grizzlies edged the Sacramento River Cats 3-2:

Denny Bautista- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 0 K's, Save(8). ERA= 3.18.

AA Richmond Flying Squirrels topped the Altoona Curve 9-6(completion of a previously suspended game):

Brandon Belt- 2 for 3, 2B. BA= .395.
Clay Timpner- 3 for 5, 2B. BA= .290.
Andy Sisco- 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K. ERA= 4.54.

Belt was obviously not around for the finish.

Altoona Curve beat the Richmond Flying Squirrels 5-1(regularly scheduled game, 7 innings):

High A Visalia Rawhide edged the San Jose Giants 3-2:

Francisco Peguero- 1 for 5, 2 OF Assists(3B, Home). BA= .316.
Ehire Adrianza- 1 for 4, HR(3). BA= .248.
Ryan Verdugo- 1.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K's. ERA= 1.73.

Peguero showing off an arm for RF? No SJ player got more than 1 hit in the game.

Low A Augusta Greenjackets crushed the West Virginia Power 18-1:

Ryan Cavan- 3 for 6, 2B. BA= .274.
Tommy Joseph- 2 for 6, HR(16). BA= .238.

Nice game to pad the stat lines. Tommy Joseph had cooled off a bit, but still has an .800 OPS over his last 10 games. Light Tower Power!!

Short Season Vancouver Canadians topped the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes 7-2:

Rookie AZL Athletics downed the Giants 8-3:

Brown and Kickham off to slow starts after the long layoff. The K/BB is there for Flores in this one.

  1. I knew Borchard had cooled since his hot start, but I didnt think he got in such a slump that all his previous HRs disappeared...
